With unemployment at a scary high, and bank accounts at an all-time low, we realize that there is still the need to get out there and have fun. Yes, we all must cut back, and it is the right thing to do. So no more iPhone 4s, no more trips to the French Laundry, and you’ve put a halt on your wine club memberships. But when it comes to the track, you know in your heart that there was one place your BMW was meant to be, and you can’t deny her that privilege. So, Bavarian Motorsport acknowledges your financial shortcomings during this recession/depression, and we want to help your BMW fulfill its potential. We are offering free track-inspections for the unemployed. As mentioned on the BMW Club, Golden Gate Chapter Website, if you are unemployed, and headed up to Thunderhill for the GGC driving school on November 13-14th, and you are currently unemployed we’ll do your track inspection for free! Want more info? Shoot us an email or give us a call (you can find all that info and more on our contact page).
See you at the track!
We’re excited to announce our new website launched on September 21st, 2010!
We’ve always only had a landing page, but given that we live in the center of the technology revolution, we though that we should get with the times. In addition to our great new website, we have also made a Facebook page for Bavarian Motorsport, and we have a Twitter account.
In the coming days we will be adding a new way to get News about the shop to our new website. What to know if our hours are changing? Or if we will be at Thunderhill for the weekend?
You can subscribe to our Blog RSS feed to learn about when this new feature is installed.
We also recently purchased a new X5. Some of you may have already seen or heard about it, but you may not have heard the X5 itself. It’s a diesel! Did you know that we work on BMW’s new Diesels, too? The fellow at the gas station looked at me like a big idiot the other day when I didn’t put normal 91 in the tank, “Um, did you know you just put diesel in your Bimmer?” Yup! And we get over 30mpg in our 5000lb tow/shop/snow vehicle, so who’s laughing now?
